Rules
The whole thing runs on one sentence: spots are ordered by how much each has paid. Everything below is a consequence of that.
Business customers only
Spots on this board are sold to businesses buying advertising in the course of their trade. They are not sold to consumers. You confirm this when you buy, and that confirmation is recorded with your entry.
This is not a formality. A consumer purchase would carry a statutory right of withdrawal, and a right to unwind an advertising placement two weeks after it has already run is not something this model can carry. If you are not buying as a business, please don't.
Prices shown are net. VAT is added at checkout where it applies. Businesses elsewhere in the EU that supply a valid VAT identification number are invoiced under the reverse-charge procedure and account for the tax themselves.
How your place is decided
Every video has a running total. The board sorts those totals high to low and that is the order you see. There is no quality score, no click-through weighting and no freshness bonus. If two spots have paid exactly the same, the one that got there first sits above.
You do not have to beat first place. Anything from $5 upwards is accepted, and your video lands wherever that amount lands it. Paying less than the top bid still puts you on the board — just further down it.
Bids are capped at $50,000 through the site. Above that, get in touch rather than putting an unusual number through a card.
Raising a bid
Raises stack onto what you have already paid. If you bought in at $40 and later add $30, your total is $70 — you are not starting again at $30. That means being passed is usually cheap to fix.
After paying you get a private manage link. It is the only route back to your spot, it is not recoverable, and anyone holding it can raise your bid. Bookmark it and don't post it anywhere.
The video
- A public YouTube link. Watch page, Shorts or youtu.be — all work. Private, unlisted, deleted and age-restricted videos are rejected.
- Embedding must be allowed. If it is switched off in YouTube Studio the video cannot play here.
- Keep it short. Thirty seconds or under suits the board. Nobody watches a five-minute pitch from a directory.
- The board shows a still image until someone presses play, so the thumbnail is doing as much work as the video.
- Landscape 16:9 fits the layout best.
Your video stays on YouTube and stays yours — this board only points at it. By entering a link you confirm you have the right to that video, including any music in it, and you give permission to show it here and in posts about the board.
If you delete the video, make it private, or turn off embedding, your spot goes blank. The bid is not refunded, because the placement was still sold and shown. Keep the video up for as long as you want the spot.
What gets removed
Anything illegal. Beyond that:
- Sexual content, or anything sexualising a minor.
- Harassment, hate, or targeting an individual.
- Malware, phishing, or a link that goes somewhere other than what the video shows.
- Impersonating a company or person you are not.
- Deceptive claims — fake statistics, invented endorsements, made-up press coverage.
Removal does not come with a refund. If a spot is pulled for breaking these rules the money stays where it is. That is deliberate: the alternative is a free slot on the front page for anyone willing to be removed later.
Money
- Payments
- Handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's own pages. This site never receives or stores your card details.
- Refunds
- Placement is non-refundable. You are buying a position at the moment you pay, and you get it immediately. Being overtaken later is the mechanic working, not a fault.
- Chargebacks
- A reversed payment means the spot comes down, since it was never really paid for.
- Guarantees
- None on traffic. Clicks are counted honestly and shown publicly on the leaderboard, including the ones that make a bid look like a bad idea. What you are buying is a position, not an audience.
The parts worth being blunt about
This is a novelty. It works because people are watching it, and attention moves on. A bid that makes sense during a busy week may look silly during a quiet one, and there is no mechanism here that protects you from that.
The board can also go quiet permanently. If it does, your spot stays up as long as the site does, but nobody will be looking at it. Bid what a week of curiosity is worth to you, not what first place feels like it should be worth.
Advertising, plainly
Everything on this board is paid advertising and is labelled as such. There is no editorial selection, no free listing, and no entry that got there on merit. The only parameter that determines position is the total amount an advertiser has paid. Nothing else is weighed, and no payment is hidden.
