What it is
Every advertising platform sits between you and the ranking. You set a budget, pick keywords, guess at audiences, and something opaque decides where you actually land. Then it changes its mind next month.
This does the opposite. You upload a 60-second video, you pay an amount, and that amount is your position. If you want to be higher, pay more. If someone passes you, you can see exactly what it would cost to pass them back. Nothing is hidden because there is nothing to hide — the ranking is a single column of numbers.
Why video
Pay-to-rank link directories already exist, and a link is a weak thing to buy: a name, a sentence, a domain. You have a few words to make someone curious.
Half a minute of video is a different proposition. You can show the product working. The catch is that the still frame has to earn the click before the video earns anything — which is a harder and more honest test than writing a clever tagline.
Questions people actually ask
- Can anyone buy a spot?
- Businesses can. Spots are sold as advertising to companies buying in the course of their trade, not to consumers — see the rules.
- Is this an auction?
- Not really. Nobody wins and nothing closes. It is a list that stays sorted by spending, indefinitely. You are buying a position for as long as nobody outspends you.
- What stops one person buying the whole first page?
- Nothing does, and that is allowed. It is also expensive, public, and visible to everyone deciding what to bid next.
- Does the money go anywhere clever?
- No. It goes to whoever runs this. There is no pot, no payout and no revenue share. Saying so plainly seems better than implying otherwise.
- Will I get traffic?
- Maybe. Clicks are counted and published on the leaderboard, including the unflattering ones, so you can see what other people got before deciding what to spend. That is more than most ad platforms will show you, and it is still not a promise.

Treat a bid as buying a moment of visibility during a novelty, not as an advertising channel with a forecast attached. $5 gets you on the board, and starting small costs you almost nothing if the whole thing goes quiet next week.
How it is built
Plain PHP and MySQL, no framework. Videos live on YouTube; this board stores a link and a copy of the thumbnail. Loading a page here sends nothing to Google — the player is only fetched once you press play. Payments run through Stripe Checkout, and a spot only appears after Stripe confirms the money, not when the form is submitted.
